To achieve this, we are looking for a Footwear Designer (m/f/d) who will accompany the entire design process of our shoes – from the initial idea to concept development and final implementation. You will create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes, work closely with development, marketing, and production, and ensure that aesthetics, functionality, and user-friendliness blend perfectly.
Important: We are an office-first company. You will work daily in one of our office in Hamburg be close to the team, the processes, and the brand.

Job Description
Your mission
- Development and optimization of footwear models from prototype stage through to mass production readiness
- Technical support and management of samples, collections, and production processes
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, specifications, and production records
- Selection, testing, and evaluation of materials, components, and manufacturing methods
- Conducting quality inspections and identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues
- Close collaboration with design, product development, production teams, and suppliers
- Monitoring and optimizing product fit, comfort, and functionality
- Coordination of sample development, wear testing, and production launches
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards
- Continuous improvement of processes and product quality
- Application and implementation of European footwear sizing and fit standards
- Strong understanding of European footwear sizing systems to ensure consistent fit and market-appropriate sizing across product ranges
Your profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Footwear Technician, Footwear Technologist, or a similar technical footwear role
- In-depth expertise in footwear construction, fit engineering, materials, and manufacturing techniques
- Comprehensive understanding of European footwear sizing standards and fit requirements
- Proven track record in technical product development, quality assurance, and product performance optimization
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and solution-driven approach to work
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with professional proficiency in German and English languages
